These are the ways we can work together. Some from the comfort of your own living room over video, some one on one in your home, and some out here in the high desert, where there is nothing pulling at you and it is easier to slow down and really hear your dog. Every one of them starts from the same place: a calm, present handler, and a dog who trusts them.
Live classes over video, so you can start wherever you are. You and your dog work in the room you actually live in, which is where most of the real learning happens anyway.
The weeks between eight and twenty are a puppy's sensitive period, and what happens now lasts a lifetime. We use it gently: housetraining and impulse control, social and emotional foundations, everyday manners, and the start of a bond built on trust instead of correction.
Five weeks to become a calm, connected adventure team. Mindful presence on the trail, a recall built on trust rather than force, easy etiquette around people and wildlife, and the impulse control that keeps a good hike good. Level 1.
My full method for raising confident, well-adjusted puppies, drawn from more than fourteen years of breeding and twenty-six years of professional dog training. We focus on brain development and natural instinct in the earliest weeks, building the foundation that prevents problems later and sets a puppy up for a home that lasts.
One on one work, shaped entirely around you and your dog. There is no one-size plan. Through calm observation I build a path that fits the two of you and the life you actually live.
In-person training in your own home, where your dog is most themselves. We work the root of a behavior instead of just the surface of it, whether you are settling in a new puppy or a rescue, easing reactivity, or simply refreshing everyday manners.
A mindful approach to service work that builds a calm, capable, trusting team. Public access, house manners and social skills, working through fear toward confidence, and the specialized tasks your dog needs to learn. All with peaceful reinforcement, and never a prong or shock collar.
These are for handlers who want to set everything else aside and be fully present with their dog. Both are for non-reactive dogs, and both ask for a short behavior video with your application, so I can be sure it is the right fit for the two of you.
For handlers who want to camp, hike, and truly adventure with their dog. Essential safety skills, an off-leash bond where your dog stays close by choice, and the peaceful presence that lets you meet any distraction calmly. My curriculum blends breathwork, dryland mushing, hiking, meditation, art, and music into one balanced experience.
An all-inclusive retreat at the Alvord Desert. Breathing exercises and walking meditations, yoga and nature immersion, mindful observation of your dog, and art and community around the day. Your dog is a mirror of your energy, and out here, with nothing pulling at you, that mirror gets very clear. Lodging, farm-to-table meals, art supplies, and classes are all included.
The desert retreat is the heart of Stay & Learn: a homestead stay and dog work, together, under some of the darkest skies in the lower forty-eight.
Tell me about your dog and what you are working on, and we will find the right place to start together. If none of these fit, we will build something that does.
